Dr. Ismail Sarı received his BA degree in History from Istanbul University in 2001, and his MA degree in History and International Relations from the same university in 2003. He received his PhD in International Relations from Uludag University in 2016 with his thesis titled “Post-Revolution Iran’s Regime Paradigm and its Foreign Policy Trend”. In 2017, his work was awarded for the best PhD dissertation. He was a post-doctoral researcher at Columbia University between 2018-2019. During his stay in the United States, Mr. Sarı served as a visiting professor at Missouri State University. His researches mainly focus on Iranian Foreign Policy, the process of Shia Secularization in the modern era, the intellectual origins of both the regime and the opposition in Iran and the current Iranian politics. He is fluent in English and Persian.
