Researcher
Emine Gözde Toprak earned her BA in International Relations from Bilkent University in 2017.
She completed her Master of Arts degree in 2020, presenting a thesis examining "The Impact
of Economic Sanctions on Iranian Women" in the Department of Middle Eastern Studies at the
METU. Toprak commenced her professional career at the Center for Iranian Studies in 2019,
where she has undertaken research across diverse domains, including Iran's foreign policy architecture
and nuclear strategy. Toprak has simultaneously contributing scholarly insights to
both print and broadcast media platforms including Daily Sabah and TRT World.
Toprak is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the Department of Middle Eastern Studies at Social Sciences University of Ankara.
